Summer School 2010

For more information about Summer School

Why Summer School?

  • It is intended for any students who recently joined the school and wish to catch up with their peers. The students taking MWSM classes during the summer may be able to skip the beginner level or jump on to a higher level next year.
  • Students looking for more unusual math problems and exposure to more advanced topics may wish to try our Summer Math Challenge classes. These classes will also offer exposure to problems from math competitions all over the world.
  • For students preparing to take the SAT, Summer School is a great way to practice and improve their scores without the distraction and pressure from activities during the school year. Summer School SAT preparation class will also provide opportunity for the students who wish to more thoroughly prepare for the John Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth test .
  • For students who feel challenged by the math curriculum in the past academic year this is a perfect chance to boost their confidence and address their shortcomings in 6 short weeks.
  • Those who are new to MWSM, can try our program without a long-term commitment in summer and decide whether they would like to continue.
